Pioneer Square

From 2006 to 2010 I had a nice studio in the 519 Western building in Seattle’s Pioneer Square. Probably the only building that was under constant threat of simply falling down in a small earthquake (or even if a large truck were to rumble past), it had a lot of character and some gorgeous locations. The white windows and freight elevator were always favorites of the models with whom I worked. This was the main location for shooting “BJ’s Hot Shots,” the web content for KISW’s BJ Shea morning show for a few years.
